Short version
Telvak is local-first. If you stay on the free/local experience, your records stay on your device.
If you enable cloud sync, Telvak processes your synced household data to provide backup and cross-device restore.
Telvak does not sell your personal data.
1. Local-first mode
No separate Telvak username/password is required for local use. Core records (homes, assets,
events, reminders, and attachment references) are stored on-device.
2. Cloud sync mode
If you enable cloud sync through an active Apple subscription, Telvak stores synced records and attachment
objects to support automatic sync, backup, and restore on new devices.
Transport uses HTTPS/TLS. Subscription cancellation or expiration pauses cloud sync, but does not remove your local on-device data.
3. Information we process for cloud subscribers
- Apple in-app purchase transaction data used to verify cloud entitlement
- Apple-linked account identifiers used to authenticate cloud access
- If provided by Apple, basic account profile data (for example, email relay address and display name)
- Authentication/session tokens and cloud account metadata
- User-entered records (homes, assets, events, reminders)
- Attachment files (for example, photos) and their metadata
- Operational metrics such as storage usage totals and sync timestamps
- A random device identifier used for sync and product analytics operations
- Basic request metadata (for example, IP address and user-agent) for security and analytics processing
4. Product analytics
Telvak uses first-party product analytics to understand usage and reliability (for example, app opens,
session duration, export generation, reminder completion, and subscription restore/purchase lifecycle events).
These analytics are used for service operations and product improvement, not third-party advertising.
Telvak does not use cross-app tracking for advertising and does not sell personal data.
5. Payments and subscription management
Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple through in-app purchases. Telvak does not receive your full payment card details.
Purchase management, cancellation, and renewal settings are handled in your Apple subscription settings.
6. Storage providers
Cloud attachment objects are stored in Cloudflare R2-compatible object storage. Structured sync records and account
metadata are stored in Telvak-managed databases.
7. Retention and deletion
If cloud sync becomes inactive, cloud file objects are scheduled for purge after a 30-day grace period from subscription expiration.
Local device data remains under your control on the device unless you delete it.
You can delete records in the app. Deletions sync to cloud while cloud sync is active. Some account and transaction
metadata may be retained as required for audit, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.
